Tai Chi
Health and Healing Course Parkinson

Harvard Medical School and John Hopkins University published research showing that practicing Tai Chi has many physical and mental health benefits. According to the publication from the Harvard Medical School "In addition to easing balance problems, and possibly other symptoms, tai chi can help ease stress and anxiety and strengthen all parts of the body, with few if any harmful side effects. Other smaller studies have reported that tai chi can improve quality of life for both people with Parkinson’s disease and their support partners. These studies are significant because they suggest that tai chi can be used as an add-on to current physical therapies and medications to ease some of the key problems faced by people with Parkinson’s disease." I am Master Chow. I would like to share my knowledge and experience with you.

My Road to Internal Power

My path to internal power began in Chen Village, the birthplace of Tai Chi.

Internal power is a difficult element to understand and takes many years to master but it is the essence of Tai Chi so to truly master Tai Chi one must master internal power.

I was privelledged to learn from Chen De Wang, a senior disciple of great Master Chen Zhuo Pi who was also the elder brother of the Four Guardians. He taught me the first part of the 74 movements of Chen Style Tai Chi. At age of 67 he was still extremely strong and powerful.

As an inheritor of this ancient martial art, I would like to share my knowledge with others who are equally as passionate.
